- Florida Minimum wage increased to $13.00/hour effective today.
- Effective today, QBO Payroll will begin deducting the payroll taxes the same day as your payroll, instead of on the tax due date. Since this could affect your cash flow, you need to be aware of the change so you can plan accordingly. I expect there will be notices from QBO Payroll of the pending deductions. Also, if there are any liabilities accrued for federal unemployment taxes, there will also be a one-time payment deducted separately from your account. My recommendation is that you pay special attention to any alerts or notices this month to be sure everything goes smoothly and that the funds are available.
