"New Invoicing" in QBO is on the way, and bringing some big changes along with it. In the long-run, this looks like it will be a good thing -- but it may be a bit of a challenge in the beginning. You may also experience some minor 'glitches' in QBO functionality occasionally -- I expect due to related system updates.
You should receive an email from Intuit/QuickBooks prior to the update -- some time between now and May 2024, and should have the option to switch back to the old layout for a period of time (unless you have a Simple Start subscription, at which time it will be permanent effective October 16, 2023).

Year-end preparations are in the works, as they begin every year about this time. It is important to have all work up-to-date, W9's on file for eligible Vendors, and any projects complete before the Holidays arrive so everything is in place for the January rush to deadlines.
